Photo-release Form

Students of the MDJCL, we would very much like to publish pictures of you. We like your triumphs, your spirit and your creativity. But in order to protect your privacy, we need your permission (and that of a guardian, depending on your age) before we'll post any pictures or video of you online.

Maryland Delegation

We asked Elliott Rebello, former MDJCL President, about his thoughts on how the Maryland Delegation went. Here is what he had to say: "We had a national officer up on stage each day, Annee Lyons. I gave closing remarks at the third GA. We made tons of new friends, speaking for Casey and me at very least. Annee and I reminisced with old friends. We beat three teams in Competitive Certamen which is sort of an impressive achievement. We didn't win spirit ever this convention, so next year we definitely need more enthusiastic delegates! (I tried my best) oh and speaking of spirit, I made the chant "Crabs crabs crabs" legendary. Nbd. We did also win roll call which is like a skit introducing your state. I played Devil Went Down To Georgia on the violin and Casey sung/screamed lol. Oh and at least for me the defining moment of my convention everyone remembers is on the second day, the spirit theme was JCL and the giant peach, so our delegation had me dress up in a pink dress like princess peach, because some other guy chickened out. On this day I was called up on stage to receive recognition for being awarded the NLE Scholarship....on stage....in a pink dress. So in the official newsletter the picture of the recipients will actually have me in a dress...officially. So I'd say it was pretty much my favorite convention!"
